RE: The Trick Flow / 70mm TB / MAF issue

Go to LKQ and pull a MAF sensor off anything (including V6 and V8 vehicles) that has F2VF-12B579-A1A or A2A.

If you already have a 70MM MAF housing, great. If not, pull one from a early 90's Cougar / Thunderbird.

Make sure you take a set of Torx bits with you to remove the MAF sensor.

Clean it with MAF cleaner.

This should take care of your mismatch issue without having to Tweek the computer or buy a $300 MAF setup to fool it.

Chuck, I suggest you do the same. It may take care of some of your decel popping!

The good news is I went to RockAuto.com and they have all the parts available for shipment but it's expensive. They even have a new metal fan blade replacement. I'm going to check LKQ first.

What MAF problems are you having?

Not a problem yet.

I'm running a stock Mustang MAF (65mm) a 70mm TB,and the Trick Flow intake (70mm).

I'm looking to clear up the bottle neck from the beginning of the system.

was able to get the BCBronco's 2 into 1 exhaust system to work. it was made for their shorty headers...after a few cuts, it works great with L&L long tube headers.i was a little disappointed in some of the kinks they bent in the tube

Looks good... I too would be disappointed in some of the kinks I can see in the pics. When do you think the motor will be fired?
