what could have been...

a very bad deal!! earlier today, i went to LKQ to pull a 3G 130A alt from a 98 windstar. got home and decided to go to the Fair today. got home from the fair round 6pm. deicded i was gonna relax and install the alt tomorrow and watch tv tonight. bout 7pm...(we're all watching tv) we heard POW! followed by rushing water under the fridge!!!Confusedcratchhe::rubeyes:

begin to see a pool of water FLOWING from under the fridge. this fridge is a side-by-side...and fits super tight. cant get it pulled away from wall, then i see the trim at the base was modified for the fridge. i had to pull up the trim and yank the fridge out.

finally got the water valve turned off(directly behind the fridge)

finally got the the water source ... the filter ruptured! pouring forever more!

a quick trip to Lowes and $40 later(new filter) problem all fixed. I cant imagine how bad things would be if this had happened while we were still out and about!!!!:crying:

...now for the fun part:toothy12:

on my way to lowes, i noticed this dakota kinda messing with me(in the bronco of coarse)Confusedmokin:

so we finally get side by side at a light...he gives me the "knod" and its AWN!

i cut that a**!!!Confusedmokin: that 5sp really paid off tonight lol. i know the truck aint no rocket car...but a 98 dakota king cab with V6/5sp can roll out pretty good....Just not as good as the bronco:thefinger:

Just wait till you get the other street rod project done! Bet that'll happen at every light Big Grin

Good timing on the water leak. I don't seem to have that kind of luck... Hey, at least it isn't snowing here. Talked to family in NJ. They're expecting about 6" of that crap- and it is still OCT!!!
