Lil update...... Ordered Hooker Headers, gaskets, header locking bolts and reducers today. Found a better deal on the Headers at JEGS. All that should be here this weekend!

Well, yesterday the new springs and the gasket and seal kit came!

Figures, 4 days after I receive my hooker headers, a pair of hooker headers for my bronco gets listed on our local craigslist! Just my luck! Even though I would've saved only $60, I'm glad to have brand new ones!

Progress......Thanks to chuzie and joseph coming over and lending a hand, the new coil springs are in. They hardley have any bow, and dont rub when I go over speed humps or drive through any ditches. The coils ended up being a couple inches shorter than the fisrt set and a little thicker than the first set too! Fixed the leak on the output shaft of the t-case too! Thanks for your help guys!! :-)

Oh yea, also bought some new lug nuts. My existing ones were a 13/16th socket size. I had to use a thin wall socket to get the wheels off. Talk about a pain the A$$! So, now i have 3/4 inch lugs. Much better :-)
Also, went to test the 3G alternator I got from the junkyard and wouldn't you know......its bad :-(

Decided to attack my headers!! Been busy with baby to be, nursery and house projects. (I'll post pics and info on another thread) haven't had much time to tinker around, so I did on Saturday!

got old manifolds off. I cut the exhaust with a saw zaw just before the transfer case to leave me room to weld in exhaust
then unbolted the flanges.....after many hits of PB Blaster for a couple weeks

Last couple pics are the headers all installed. Took a lot of finagling, but gottem in. Not too impressed with the person I spoke with at Jegs......long story, but I had to take a dead blow to my heat shield that protects the tranny from the floor. Had to remove starter to get pass side header in. And I could've used longer locking bolts. Jegs recommended 3/4 in and I really needed 1" bolts. AND now I have to get my exhaust re-run. Drivers side header points towards passenger side...so I'm guessing I'll have to combine the pipe coming right from the header into a single pipe and then split it to a dual pipe somewhere after the t-case. Been thinking of turning the pipes outside just before the rear wheel!! Your thoughts??? Don't want to smell exhaust with top up and doors off. Took me 5 hours. Drove it around the block a few times...WOW does it sound good!!!! And loud!! (of coarse with Just straight headers) Can't wait to hear it with my flowmasters
Anyway, there's my mini buildup all completed.(minus final exhaust) Now I just need to install new axle seals!

Sweet. I would dump just in front of rear wheels. I used to run the exhaust straight back and it was horrible. The smell was always in the cab.

Update.
Got the exhaust finished a couple months ago. Been busy with the baby and work. Ended up 45 'n them over the rear axle facing the ground. No exhaust smwll what so ever. Ill try to get some pics. Also did a front brake job. My front right caliper was froze up. Replaced pads, rotors, pass caliper, and master cylinder. Now, allof a sudden my taurus fan is giving me problems,,,, but that's gotta b an electrical problem. Just haven't had the time to inspect.
