I've finally saved up enough money to do some work to my FS. Haven't ordered any parts yet, but plan to start on some within the next couple days. Here are the plans.....
- FLOOR PANS : I have a few 1/2 dollar size holes on DS and PS of the floor. One so bad you can touch the carpet through the bottom with a couple fingers.
- HEADERS : I've had an exhaust leak coming from the PS manifold for a while now. Figured I'd fix that and make it sound a lil better.
- BEARING/SEAL KIT FOR TRANSFER CASE : Tired of it leaking.
- COIL SPRINGS : Gonna go with a different brand of spring. Mine bow too much. Probobly try superlift. I have JBG Deaver springs now.
-HERCULINE INTERIOR : After new floor pans are installed, figured I'd take care of them and the rest of the interior (that is if nothing else needs repared on the inside)
-EXTEND AXLE BREATHER HOSES : Just been lazy, and haven't improved them.
-RATTLE CAN PAINT JOB : Time to update the paint. Its been five years and I'd say the $36 i spent on Rustoleum cans have done their job. Same look, just new paint.
I think thats it cratchhe: I'll keep ya'll posted with the progress once it starts. Oh yea, ANYONE WANNA LEND A HELPING HAND???

Sounds like you will be busy for a while. My $0.02. DON'T BUY HERCULINER. Not sure if you were just referring to getting it lined, but herculiner is junk. For about the same price (maybe just a tad more) you can get Al's liner or Scorpion. Both are 1000 times better. They do require being sprayed in. It isn't too hard to do, but the product does put off a lot of fumes for a few days. You probably don't want to spray it inside your garage...

Thanks for the tip! I talked to chuck last night at the meeting and he has a kit that isn't Herculiner. I'm gonna go ahead and get that from him. I think he said it was an Al's liner. cratchhe:

Went over to chucks last night, picked up the liner for my interior. It IS an AL's Liner! So thats good news. Bad news is, one of the materials you mix together was rock hard. Gotta call and see if I can get just that one material.

if that one material is more than 100 bucks, you might check raptor U-sol liner... i put it on mine, and it looks pretty good. its 100 bucks for the whole kit including the gun. it doesnt build as thick as linex or the top brand stuff, but i have been throwing parts across the tailgate for about 8 months now, and it has held up well. bronco still isnt running, but the liner is doing good... LOL
