Does anyone from/aroiund the Charlotte area want to do anything before the Meet and Greet in April?

If so, what? I'm open to thoughts/ideas.

Wheeling the Gulches, working on someones rig, driving somewhere for a bite to eat and chat, what have you.

Chat it up!

I'm game for anything ... say first of the year maybe? December is always a fast and crazy month.

Yeah, I am thinking after the first of the year as well. I know we ran the Gulches last Jan. Not sure if that might play out again. I'd be up for that.

If not, perhaps we could arrange a meet and eat again? Last one was out towards Gastonia. We could do Concord, Rock Hill, or Gastonia.

Chuck, have we started planning for the meet and greet in April? Or, are there things that need to be done up here? Maybe we could do a meeting like one of your meetings down there (though i don't know what you all conspire to do down there).

I like the eating idea - Charlotte was a good place last time. Let's do somewhere different though that we can walk around and talk with other tables more. The rib place was good, but once you got stuck in the booth it was hard to interact with anyone else besides your table and maybe the one next door. I don't really know where is a good place other than a "bar" to do that and know that's not the environment we're going for either. Maybe somewhere that has outside seating (unless it's still too cold) and we have the "run" of the outside.

We met at hillbilly's in gastonia last time. seating is as you mentioned. that worked out fine, except we only had 3 of us.... We could always go there again. It is off of exit 23 on 85, IIRC.

If we want to do charlotte, there are plenty of places around that would work good. Would a Friday or a Sat be better? I'm thinking early Feb, in case we do get a run going to the Gulches in mid/late Jan.
