I want to chat up a meeting in the Raleigh area to get some feedback on what kind of event we can plan down the road. I had a few ideas. Maybe an event in late April or early May. I have a great parking lot at my office that we can rope off and have broncos on display and swap meet. Maybe have and RTI ramp challenge. Does anyone know someone with a ramp? There is a restaurant / bar next door that has great food. We could potentially have food on site.

I have a friend that has a mud race track that we might could use to have a brocno show, swap meet and possible run in the mud. He has been hauling in rocks for a rock garden as well. He is planning to have rock crawl competition in the future. This event may cost to get in to offset his costs of pulling people out the mud. Maybe consider donations for a local charity.
I am open to ideas but would be willing to host a get together in my back yard.

Dadgummit, and me right here in the middle of both groups.
I'd be interested in something if you can put it together Carl.

Hey Carl, I'm located in Raleigh and would love to attend and to help you put together a meeting. There's a new 4 Wheel Parts store located on Glenwood Ave. They may be interested in having us there and it would be a nice spot for visibility. Let me know how I can help. Thanks,Trey

Trey, That sounds like a good idea. I know it would be a convenient location. They have alot of parking in the rear of the building. I will go by there and talk to them. What would be a good date to have it? May? Keep the good ideas coming.

I'm new here, but I just got my fourth Early Bronco (1973) after ten years without one. I would like to look at some fixed up Broncos to get some ideas. I also got some stuff to trade (well maybe). I live about 45min out of Raleigh, so please keep us informed of when and where so I can be sure to be there.
Thanks
Shannon

I talked Greg Slade who is the manager of 4 Wheel Parts here in Raleigh and he said it would be great if we were to meet at his store. They have a rear parking lot that would be perfect. He may let us use the front. He also said he has an RTI ramp that we can use with signed waivers of course. He and I will have more discussion later when we nail down a date. I suggested the later part of May but have not heard back from him.

I have put out some feelers and this is what is taking shape.
Bronco gathering and swap meet.
Saturday April 26
At the 4 Wheel Parts Store on 70 Hwy. Raleigh
We can play on the RTI ramp.
Donations accepted for local SPCA
Vendors are kicking in products for give aways or silent auction.
Trying to find a pizza place to donate lunch or half price.
I need some more input from everyone for suggestions or help.
thanks

Thanks for the update Carl! Count me in for sure. Heck, I'll even buy the pizza for everyone or I could also call Lynnwood Grill that's nearby to see if they are willing to help us out. Not sure if my Bronco will be up the RTI ramp with it's basic suspension setup but I'm sure I'll be able to create a parts wish list. Any idea on how many folks can attend? -Trey
