New Im in Pikeville
#1
Hey ive been on FSB.com for a while. My name is willie im 21 (now 23) i have a red and white 80 bronco fullsize ftw! 302 4x4 auto. its stock and im slowly going through it and getting it running properly it runs great just needs the carb rebuilt and new vac advance. along with the rest of the vac lines replaced. the front fenders and alittle around the bottom of the door has rust and of course that damn tailgate is trash but its functional. other than that the frame is solid and no other rust that cant be taken care of by replacing the body part.

so far it has new brakes all around along with booster and master cylinder. superwinch hubs. i have a 3in body lift im going to put on it.

i have big plans for my bronco but all in due time. right now its not a looker but i love it like no other.

i have a 302 from a 91gt mustang im going to put gt40 heads an edlebrock intake and 4bbl carb along with headers in it but thats going to be a work in progress as i get money.

after i get that motor with alittle more balls in it i plan on running 35x12.50's and getting some good lockers and beefing up the ttb (if possible). i dont want to do a SAS.

pics to follow.

Looks good! Welcome aboard. I don't know of any windshield places out your way. Comprehensive insurance usually covers cracked windshields, plus a small deductible.

its not cracked. the old windshields had the plastic in the middle ply. and if you notice in my pics it looks like overspray on the windshield but its the plastic in the middle of the windshield its old and splitting causing my windshield to leak. so it needs a new windshield and new putty around it to stop the leak.

First year of that body style... like it!

Those TTB's are tougher than a lot of people give them credit for. If you're not going to thrash it in the rocks they can hold up to bigger than 35". I have a friend who ran 42's in the mud with TTB for several years.

Welcome to CB4x4. What is DBB?

i have had "him" going on a year now. I say "HIM" because he has kinda picked up the name Juggernaut from a friend who drives a tiny car and i parked beside him one day and he cracked a joke and it kinda stuck. DBB stands for Dem Brogden Boys. it was a group of friends and their trucks, cars, and anything that ran really going out shooting guns and general hell raising in the JOCO area.

i do plan on running 35's later on after the motor work and the body lift. But in the next year or so i plan on adding a 6in suspension lift to it along with the body lift and going with bigger tires. i want to build that gt 302 motor to hold about 350hp so it will have plenty of go when i need it.

i love the truck ive always wanted one and i got an old one that was used as a farm truck. im slowly bringin him around to my side of the fence and i couldnt be happier with it.

Wow its been a while. Well a lot has happend to the truck. Newer wheels (stock 95 wheels) in almost brand new shape. Ive slowly statted taring out the carpet and spraying the inside with tg the rustoleum bedliner type stuff. Is holding up tremendously doin about 3 heavy coats in each (section). Built an overhead console and rear cargo cover (both still need to be wrapped in something). Startied spray canning it tgen stopped and decided on a diff color and haven't started again.

Also yesterday I picked up a d44 straight out of a 78/79 fsb from Youngs Auto Salvage complete without springs or shocks for $75.

So the sas will start this winter sometime. And by the end of next summer the sas and hopefully a newer roller 351w with gt40 heads, mustang 5.0 cam, and longtubes

And some pics of what's goin on
