Well it happened..... Racing the bronco last weekend and on my first run it just quit dead with no warning. I tried to recrank and nothing. I knew this was not good. Soooo I washed it off and got it towed back to the trailer lifted the hood in hopes of an electrical problem when I spotted a rod bolt stick out the side of the oil pan. OUCH! Everything in the block including the block is trash. I guess thats racing.

Damn that sucks, I was hoping to get a chance to see that beast in action. I hope you're able to get this back up and running soon. Good Luck.

Man I'm sorry to hear that Carl. Do you know what you will build for it next? Perhaps a 460? Maybe a stroked small block?

Hate to hear that Carl. Any idea what happened or why it let go? What are you thinking about replacing it with?

Not sure what I will do. I have a spare block but will need a new crank, rods, 3 pistons, and some other stuff.
