great minds think alike. i was going to pm you today to see what the thoughts were on it.
the trails do open on Mar 28. Bear in mind that the spring jamboree is on April 5. There will be a ton of folks out there that weekend. I don't care when we go, but we have to go to URE!!
the super celebration in TN is the 24-26th of April, so we should work around that for sure. I'm open to whatever. If any leg work needs doing, I'm game for that and can cook again this year. I didn't mind doing that. Again, all proceeds would benefit the club.

I thought we were considering a change of venue for the next M+G. Rumor has it carpenters finally built something on that parking area adjacent to the shop.

I'm in no matter what... Darlington NASCAR Museum might be an option for venue if change is needed... i vote for April 18-21 if it matters to anyone though...

BASS PRO SHOPS in Concord Mills is an option too. the one at Myrtle used to host a jeep gathering years ago... it was a decent spot for that sort of thing...

One option is to incorporate it directly with the spring jamboree at URE. It is an off-road expo type event with people milling about, probably a small swap meet, helicopter rides, etc. it is held in the fields across from the outpost. Only issue might be trying to keep our raffle to ourselves, but it shouldn't be that hard. Food for thought.

I like this idea alot, cuts down on highway fuel expenses big-time for alot of us. In order to keep our raffle to ourselves, you could require that to buy a ticket you have to supply an active CB4x4 Screenname, or pre-register here on the site... I'm assuming Chuck has a way of tracking either process?

Forgot to mention that most of the local clubs are represented there. They allot space for each club to set up and show off their stuff. To me, that'd be the biggest thing for us, to maybe help get us known a bit better.
A thread on it is here:

I went to the one a couple years back and it had a great turn out. Not sure if attendance has gone up or down, but it sounds like Scott is really wanting to get clubs involved.
