Campsite space / lodging this late in the game could prove problematic. Great idea though.

bart, that jamboree sounds pretty good actually. i check arrowhead...and there are a lot of sites available right now, but ppl would have to jump on them very soon...and to be honest, if some outsiders buy tickets and win...so be it. we have ppl now attending and winning, but not all them have a bronco. i guess they hook up their buddy with the parts or sell them. personally, i wouldnt buy tickets for a raffle if all they had was fj cruiser stuff...so id think most ppl buying would either use it or help their buddy out. so i dont mind that...i wonder if they have room for us? bart, you got a name/number for someone i can speak with?
of coarse, doing this means its on their date which i think is the april 5th weekend

ok guys...just got off the phone with scott , we having our 8th meet and greet right along with the 3rd URE Jamboree!!!!! camping is available at the jamboree(and its free!) however, i have reserved site 14, and if you want arrowhead...i suggest you save it now! sites could go quickly with both events taking place.
Bart, thanks again for lining things up with Scott and I!
we will have to work on a new flyer for the event....any members good with photoshop??? im sure we will need some art from scotts jamboree. im getting excited, hope this turns out to be a great event!!!

SAWEEET!! DUUDDE!!
Looking forward to it! I hope we get a great turn out! For all the rigs that will be out there, I'm sure ours will get the most attention. Maybe I'm just a bit biased...
For those that don't do any four wheeling, the Jamboree is a family type atmosphere with fun activities for kids, various clubs, helicopter rides to benefit JAARS, and more. The event will take place in a big field right off of HWY 109, near or in the township of Troy, NC. Any vehicle can access the field from the road. No 4wd required or needed. Heck, you could drive your Prius out there. This event will be like any of the other events we've had, just at a new location with new things to see. There will even be a show and shine if you want to take your ride there to capture the attention of all. I might even bet some of you could win that show with some of your rigs.
The location is not too terribly far from where it was. It is within an hour from Carpenter's doorstep. If you want to stay for the day, come on out! If you want to go four wheeling on the trails at Uwharrie National Forest, you can stay for that as well
