ford 250 inline 6

Hey guys looking for a 250 inline 6 cylinder, my 170 is tired and I like the 6 cyl but i
want to gain a little more power, anybody know where one is, doesnt matter if it needs to
be rebuild, kinda would perfer it that way. thanks Dustin

have you considered a 300? if your planning for the expense of a swap, the 300 would mean only doing it once as opposed to doing a 250 now and possibly considering a 300 or a v8 down the road. it does require some extra work due to the significent length issue, but i know some folks on classic have done it...

in either case, pull-a-part sells motors cheap, and since your planning to rebuild would be a fine place to start looking...

I have but the more I looked into it the more I would have to modifiy, a 250 will bolt in other than the oil pan issue and bellhousing, which I already have, plus the 300 is a lot heavier than a 250, none of the pull-a-parts around here have any, ive been looking for a couple of months now, might just do a 200 instead not sure at the moment
