No pictures to prove it, but we got back to work on the beast today! Between the pretty weather and last weekends motivation at the M&G, Keith and I gave it a full day's work of wiring today. Just wanted to bump this back up and hopefully it will stay at the top and we keep making good progress.

Awww chit yeah... If it weren't for the knee high grass (couldn't mow last weekend, obviously), I'd been in the shop too... Which one of us will finish first? I'm not sure, but I know that the Pumpkin will be better!

I know that I miss working on it! Wiring lacks 1/2 day or less. Few odds and ends after that like installing distributor and re-routing fuel lines before turning it over. I know Keith is anxious to have it out of his driveway. As soon as we finish un-packing at the new house we'll get it moved and hopefully get back on it before it gets cold again.

We worked on the giant pumpkin yesterday! After remembering where we left off, we got a lot accomplished. The wiring in the dash is complete and working. Like Keith posted in another post, the dome lights are powered by a separate fused power feed to the headlight switch. After 3 switches all had the same problem we knew it had to be something and finally figured it out. We are using a generic harness and not the stock plug block so we're wiring directly to the tabs on the switch.
We also figured out that the art carr shifter cable is too short and I'll have to buy a longer one, the speedo cable is missing, and I've got some misc. fuel fittings to find and buy.
It felt really good to work on it again!
