Thanks Dwight. The rules will be posted soon and the specifications for the canoe will likely be defined. I would imagine shorter is better if it has to stay atop the vehicle on the trails.

Shorter would likely be better on the trails. But longer sure handles better with 2 men in it on the water. this one is stable enough to stand u and walk around in. If you have decent balance. LOL

FYI they stole the canoe idea from this years ultimate adventure.

About 15 years ago there was an event just like this called the florida challenge. Same idea, gps way points, challenges like move a tire from one side of a lake to another.
Sounds like a bunch of fun, well have to see how it does this year and keep it in mind for next year.

I totally agree with that Chuzie. Had the same thought. As crazy as this is, I would even consider going in on this competition with you...

I'd be safely out of the vehicle long before anything sketchy goes down.
