I used some metal that came from a Suzuki packing crate which my nephew who works at the Honda shop here had. Worked out great,

Bart I have found the smaller park light lenses that you wanted and will try to remember to bring them when we meet u again. They are the clear ones.

How a about a pic or 2 in the day where we can see a bit more of what you did? I'm curious and I think others probably are too.

Yes Chuck I had ordered some clear 66-68 lenses with plans of modifying my old buckets to fit them. When i looked closer at my old buckets I decided they were not fit to use so I ordered new 66-68 lights and made u a adapter bracket to fasten the smaller housings in the original opening.I had to trim a little over a 1/4 inch off the tab in the 73 grill and drill one hole in same tab. All in all I am very satisfied with how it worked out. If anyone would like a foot of this metal I used to make adapter I have 10 or 12 foot of it and will cut them off a piece and give it to them when we have a ride or a meet. All I used to fab the brackets were a 4 1/2 in grinder with a cut off wheel and a sanding disc a flat file and a couple of drill bits. And a sharpee to draw where I wanted to cut and drill. Easy and a great result.
I do need to get some orange bulbs to put in them, they came with clear. I had some orange but when i looked closer I found that they were single element. I will try to get a couple of pics in the daylight tomorrow.
New pics of lights
![]() ![]() They fit perfectly in the existing opening and are recessed about half the depth of the lenses. Sent from my NEC-NE-2 01A1A using Tapatalk
