Thanks for the Birthday Day wishs everyone. I ran away from the Rest Home Chuzie. Hehehe... Brought the 435 and Adapter home today. Anyone needing a T shift style transfer case let me know. I have a couple/
OK, don't laugh at me bringing this up but... have you guys ever heard of using a product like Loctite 638 instead of tack welding the caps on the u-joints. We use this at work for certain applications and it works great. I just can't help but think that tack welding the caps could damage the cap/bearing surfaces in some way. http://na.henkel-adhesives.com/industria...7714153473

Low heat. Just enough for slight penetration so it won't spin. Not hot enough to damage anything inside.
That being said, I have to be able to remove joint without destroying it. Just grind the tack and done. I wonder how using loctite would go when it comes time to disassemble. Sent from my GS3 on Cyanogenmod with the older / better version of Tapatalk!

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.
Mild heating with propane torch breaks it down. I think above 350 degrees. It's basically a similar formula as loctite thread locker. Just tweaked for strength and clearance. We also use other formulations like 603 and 680

Hmmm. I like that. I will give it a try next time and see how it goes.
