Gear reduction starters

I have been looking through old threads but cant find the original thread. But I'm looking at converting to the new style starters. What is everyone running.

when I click on my saved link it says part not found, but I believe this is the same one I have been using.

I went with DB on several rigs. Bought both the auto and manual transmission types with good luck. The auto trans starter looks identical to a late model explorer starter.

i always use the explorer starter or the mid 90's f150- for the manual starters
77 built 306,Trickflow Cam/Alum Heads/dome pistons/10:1comp,nv3550,duff long arms,3.5" lift,family cage,protofab rear bumper,twin sticked, and 35KM2'sG.D.I.

No major problems.
I did some more poking around their site and here is another one that may work for you as well.

DB's one of the best for a good product and they have a great selection. I've still got my first starter from them, still kicking ass!

I ended up ordering the manual version on this one. We will see how it looks soon.

So I got my starter today got it hooked up and it won't start just clicks so I check my connections everything appears ok. I took it back out and bench tested everything ok. I noticed the snout was of. Does this look off to you
