My 69 is getting a new skin

Just thought I would share a few photos of my new paint that I am doing in my garage. Started with just the interior and snow balled into the whole truck. Clear goes on this weekend. Somehow I see new seats, 3 point harness, Tuffy console etc.......

That is the original Rangoon Red from the old for piant color book. That is the base coat and the clear coat will make it pop. At least that is what I am told from the paint gurus. I plan on three coats of clear to "protect" it from all that we do. Of course, what fool thinks that clear paint cab protect us from rocks and trees?
