I had one of my Broncos burn up last week. My Motorhome caught fire from a electrical short and destroyed my Tige' ski boat and hurt my 66 Bronco. Pictures are on the Classic Bronco web site. The electrical adapter for the Motorhome which hooks to the drop cord shorted out. The RV was a total loss. The boat was a total loss. Some people would say the Bronco was a total loss. But I have had that Bronco since 1981. I am going to try and bring it back. I am lucky that my house didn't catch fire. The fire dept. came just in time. My 74 red Bronco was about 20 feet away, and didn't get hurt. But the other 66 Bronco was fully engulfed. I see it as an chance to redo the 66.

Thanks for all your support. I still have my Red Bronco, it was parked about 20 feet away. It wasn't hurt. That is the one I drive all the time anyway. I will just be sleeping in a tent again at URE.
I am actually looking forward to working on my Blue Bronco. It had a soft top with door inserts. That all burnt up, so I am going back to a half cab. It had the half cab when I bought it. I saved all the parts, so after I replace the burnt metal (rear quarter) and the front fiberglass fender. I can put all my old parts back on. I will have to rewire it, but I have already done that once. I have enough seats and stuff the interior should be easy. I actually have a tilt column to go in it. It had a jeep tilt column in it. But the chevy one I have should work. I also have another set of floor shifters. It pays to collect parts! It will just take awhile.
Thanks again for all your support!
