Rock lights?
#1
I've been wanting to do this from the start of my build...at first I was thinking maybe some smaller fog lights like 6 of them from say walmart(cheaper than autozone ect.) placed in spots where I could work on my rig at night and extra light when working under the truck ect.

any and all comments and suggestions are welcome.

I found these kinda want um http://www.shaffersoffroad.com/shop/prod...b7d59c5dfd

I like to use the rubber housing lights they sell for utility stuff(tractors, tow trucks, ect). They run $10-15 ea. They are nearly unbrakeable, the bulbs can be changed if they burn out or get broken.
They even work under water. Currently I have some as my back up lights, been on there 10 years and still work.

I bought mine from Northern Tool & Equipment. They are wide angled fog lights and came in a pair. Bought 2. Put 1 at each end and on each side. Plenty of light for me! I put a bead of silicone around the edges to waterproof them. So far, no complaints. They work great. I've had them for a couple years now and they've seen alot

if you buy from them call and order from mike shaffer. he is the owner. i know a lot of people on pirate have had problems getting parts from them. it took them about 2.5 months to get me one set of gears.:banghead:
but mike made it right. his problem is his help sux and he is always gone competing in rock crawling competitions. other than that he is a nice guy.
