I found a trailer on Craigslist. It's bigger than what I initially wanted, deck is just under 21' long counting the dovetail and has 3 mobile home axles.
What does everyone think about trailers with MH axles? I've always heard they were made for "1 time use", but i see a lot of trailers using them. Are they OK to use?

They are not made for one time use. They are serviceable like any other hub.
The only real downside to trailer axles is the rims, you are stuck running those rims and tires unless you change hubs.
21' is not bad to deal with, what are you going to tow it with? If you will never tow anything that heavy it would be worth while to shorten it and lose an axle.

After a google search it's the factory tires that are marked "1 time use". The aftermarket 7x14.5 tires are fine.

I don't mind the funky hubs...err...rims. I've got several junk MH axles and more importantly maybe a 6 or 8 junk tires around my house (thank you, family members :banghead
that i can have spare tires mounted on and steal spare mounting hardware from.
If I get it, i'll most likely pull it with any/all of my 3 trucks. I'm not getting it in order to pull any specific vehicle with on a regular basis.
It's probably already sold anyway...

I've got Dexter axles on my Hudson trailer that use the MH wheels. Nothing wrong with them at all. Dexter is the top of trailer axles so if they use it then it should be ok.

I've got MH axles on my trailer and they work fine, mine use regular old white spoke wheels with 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. The only real problem I've had is that they had really old style brakes that parts aren't available for, and the bolt pattern for the backing plates was different then the newer style. It took a bit of fab work to get newer style brakes working, but they do work now. And judging by the bearing sizes I figure my axles are rated about 5000lbs.

I will say I'm not a fan of MH tire/wheels, but since you can swap them for another style rim why not. I like the heavy duty tires(load rating E I think). My 23' has older style horse trailer axles. The guy who built it never bothered using the brakes. Now the backing plates have rotted off. I plan to put disk hub/rotors on it with weld on caliper mounts. Or if they become to much work to get the way I want I'll have to up grade to newer ones.
If its cheap enough, grab it just for the frame to make a trailer.
