Tube bending??
#11
SC74 Wrote:Keith (744x4) and I just dropped over $1,000 dollars in new dies and some more tube so we gotta come up with some small tube bending projects to help pay the VISA bill Confusedcratchhe:

Anybody need anything bent up - roll bar, oh crap handles, "nerf" bars for rockers, etc? We've got 1", 1.5", 1.75", and 2" so you name it!

How about a tube bumber...real simple bolt on...turn the corner a little...low profile... 2" female square trailer reciever and winch plate?

Dang JP - I'm sorry dude. That would be simple to build. I don't know exactly what you have in mind but shoot me some pics or links to what you're talking about. What I see is maybe 2 2" tubes (one on top of the other) with the 2" receiver in the middle and a winch plate. We'll just need to know what winch you have - Keith has a Warn 8,000 and I have a Warn 8274 so if it's one of those we have something for measurements. I see that you've got a 3" body lift in your sig so we'd make it fit the 3" body lift so no gap shows (unless you know you have plans to remove the body lift in the future).

Shoot me some pics/links and I'll let you know what it would costs. Sorry for not replying sooner.

Something like this but for the front with a little style Confusedmokin: and turn the corner a little...as far as the winch I dont have one but maybe a generic plate that I could drill to mount my future winch.

Gotcha - that shouldn't be too hard. I'll take some measurements this evening when I get home and figure how much something like that for the front would be. Generic winch plate is no prob either.

:gunshot:

Okay I have finally got around to showing off my new custom built bumper.

:chili:

I am so proud of my new bumper it gave my Bronco a whole new LOOK and added protection can't wait to hit the trails with my new set up and recovery ability.

I asked Robert to add a square receiver in the front for future D-ring mounted hitch or the ability to move my trailer around the yard and possibly a cradle mounted winch or whatever.
Also a modest but very stout "skid plate" and triple bar strength will hold up to years of trail/rock abuse.

:eyecrazy:

:poke:

Lets support one of our own and any I mean any custom tube work lets keep our money in the "family":drinkbud:

So contact SC74(Robert) or 744X4(Keith) and place your order today!!!

JP - Thank you for the props!!

It looks even better with your winch on it. :xyxthumbs: Have you gotten another chance since hooking up to the motor home to use the winch?

Thanks again for recommending us - it really means a lot!
