Ok made it here and with in the first 5 minutes I destroyed my Radiator.

Then Steve the owner gave (borrow) a "HEEP" radiator that fit with some help...back to the trails and bent steering and some body damage

sorry about your radiator. thats why im going with an electric fan next time. ive eaten 3 already this summer. you need to invest in some dom steering when you install the full widths.

This is probably worthy of a new thread but should we not be looking for solutions to prevent this from happening to our expensive aluminium radiators? I for one am not willing to trash $500.00 worth of radiator.

Matt made me a radiator guard out of heavy expanded metal for the rock race just in case. It works like a charm.

Jp, sorry to see your carnage. I thoght you had it dialed in. I can show you how to stop that radiator damage from happening again.
Dont sweat the body damage, as for the steering lincage, time to upgrade to heim stuff.
