Actually, that connector went to the transmission wiring harness. Since i removed the harness, I don't have anything left to plug back in there.... I am going to "weather proof" it somehow, tho

I would take the jump wire out, scotch lock the 2 wires,& then fill the end of the connecter with clear silicone rubber......:xyxthumbs:...how's it drive? that granny low u can it out & walk next 2 it.....now if u twin stick it u could have real low,low gear in 2wd....:rebel:

That's still a good idea! I think i've even got those scotch locks in my toolbox...
I still don't have driveshafts. I've been fighting trying to figure out what yoke will fit the existing u-joints. I think i finally have it figured out now. I changed ujoints in my front driveshaft to 1330's with 1 1/16" caps and they'll fit the yoke that was on the rear of the 205. As long as Advance Auto ordered the correct size output shaft seal for me i'll be in business about lunch time tomorrow. Then I can finally measure for the front driveshaft.
I already know the rear shaft need to be lenghtened 14 5/8"

Wouldn't you know the computer jockey ordered me the wrong one. :banghead:
I'm trying to find a part number online so i can have him cross reference it...
EDIT: I looked on JBG to get find the dimensions of the seal i need. Looked through NapaOnline.com to find an output shaft seal with that same OD and ID and then went over to PartsAmerica.com to see if they had a part number the same as the Napa website. They do so I'm about to head out to see if they'll order that one for me.

Ok, so... if you're looking to swap in a 1350-series yoke onto your np205 or np203, or if you're just looking to replace a leaky output shaft seal, here are two part numbers you could use.
or you can go argue with the high school computer jockeys at the parts store...

Front driveshaft ujoints.
The NP205 came with a 1350 yoke on the rear output and a 1310 yoke on the front output. I replaced the rear 1350 with a flat flange to mate with my double cardigan driveshaft and swapped the front 1310 for the 1350 that came from the rear.
I couldn't get my stock 1995 front d.s. to mate up with the 1350 yoke. So I had to change the u-joints in the driveshaft. Not that it's a bad thing since the ones I took out came from the factory.
I did have to use 2 different ujoints. However they're both 1330s.
The d.s. itself takes a 1 1/16" cap
The '77 1350 yoke takes a 1 1/16" cap
The 1995 yokes (D44 and old 1356 transfer case) takes a 1 1/8" cap
So i bought 1 u-joint with 4 1 1/16" caps and 1 u joint with 2 1 1/16" caps and 2 1 1/8" caps. I guess this means i have to pay attention to the way that the driveshaft is installed now.
