MEB Fawl Crawl October 15-16, 2010 |

We are having the MEB Fawl Crawl at the Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area - In Harlan, KY. October 15-16, 2010
MEB site - http://www.earlybroncos.com
Black Mountain site - http://www.harlancountytrails.com/blackmountain.php
This is a low key event where we just get together to have fun and go wheeling. If you've been to Harlan before, then you know what it's like, if you haven't been you are missing a great place to wheel. The park itself is huge and you can get anything from scenic 2 wheel drive roads to trails where you better bring a bunch of spare parts and possibly a change of underwear. upergrin:
MEB does not charge fees for the event, but there are trail fees to use the park that went into effect last year. You can read about them on the Black Mountain site above.
Most of the club staff will be staying and will make event headquarters at the Harlan County Campground on the Putney side of the park, and our trail groups will leave out of this Campground
http://www.harlancountycampground.com/
Groups will form starting at 9:00 and expect to be on the trials at 10:00
We will try to have at least a couple of the local wheelers there to lead a couple different levels of trail groups. Of course, you do not have to run with the MEB groups if you want to go explore with your own group or jump in with one of the KYMC groups. The nice thing about the trails is that you can go with different level rigs and if you are not up to running a trail, you can take an easier route to the end of the hard trails to watch and meet back up with the group you are running with so that you can all stay together.
The Kentucky Mountain Crawlers is also having thier Fall event that same weekend. They normally run their event on the Evarts side of the park. They are a great group of people, great to wheel with, and very knowledgeable about the park.

The 5th Annual November Run at Uwharrie National Forrest is quickly approaching.
We are looking for input from club members to help decide what date the event will be held.
There are two dates to choose from; Nov 6-7 or Nov 13-14.
Please vote for your preference so we may all begin making arrangements.
Thanks!
