Project "Big Country" - Front Bumper Fab
#31
We got the fuel cell mounted for good yesterday after tapping the frame in 10 places (5 on each side). It can hold me up so I hope it can hold 16 gal. of gas :xyxthumbs:

The floor pans are in now too Confusedupergrin: We did the passenger side first and that was the learning curve - the driver side didn't take as long since we had some ideas from the pass. I don't have a pic of them primed yet, but you can't even tell where the spot welds are - just see the lip around the edges but the bed-liner will cover that up.

Here are some pics!!!

I really enjoy following your build. It help calm my nerves knowing that such work is possible. I just need to get some skill upgrades. Great job. Very impressive. Do you have an estimated completion date?

I'm very fortunate to have a friend (744x4) that has taught me a WHOLE LOT as the build progresses. My skill level has definitely improved, but I still learn something new everyday when it comes to working on the bronco and fab work.

My goal all along has been to have it at this years Fawl Crawl in October. That was the date that I set in my mind over a year ago and it is still feasible but there's a lot of $$ to be spent between now and then. I know we could get the work done by then, but the money is another story Confusedcratchhe:

Thank you for the compliments!

We've got a plasma at work but I haven't really played with it much since I'm always working on the Bronco at home. It's amazing how many cut off wheels sheet metal eats up though - we used the wheel and sawzall to get the old ones out.

Just so everyone knows, I am not a complete tard. For some reason my letter "R" on the keyboard is intermittent so I am aware how to spell "your."
That is why most of my posts have last edited: can't spell. Smile
