Shock mounts
#1
Well, I finally got around to fixing my front end. It all began when my pass. side coil rubbed on my tire on certain bumps in the road and when I articulated the front suspension. :banghead: On the drivers side, the drop trac bar bracket would also dig into my shock and puncture it. Thought I could eliminate the front shock bracket, but come to find out there would only be 1 bolt going through the frame for the drop trac bar bracket. I also noticed that I had installed the drop trac bar bracket in reverse. For some reason its kinda angled Confusedcratchhe:So I took it out and turned it around and adjusted the trac bar, then moved the shock to the back with a new rear shock bracket I got from a friend, on the drivers side. Also got the lower bracket that mounts on the radius from my friend as well. (My bronco never had one. Only the holes for one) Here's some pics after the install! Now no more rubbing!!Confusedupergrin:
