I should be at camp around 1pm. I plan to hit some trails right after we get there. night run both nights and some on sunday before we leave.
The cross shaft came in and I got the front end all back together Friday and drove it around some on Saturday. The noise I had is gone, but there are a few places on the ring gear that bind up when spinning it by hand from the boogered teeth, but it should get through the weekend just fine. I got some PM done on Saturday so all I have to do is load up, fill up the gas tank and I'm ready to go.
I would be glad to lead a group if needed.
I was thinking I'd like to run the trails on Saturday like this:
Start with Daniel
On to Rocky Mt. Loop to Kodak Rock
Then on to Sawmill
Then run Slab Pile to Wolf's Den
To Dutch John.
Depending on the time, From Dutch John we can either go back to Rocky Mt. Loop to the Parking lot to re-group and decide where to go, or we can go back down Slab Pile to Falls Dam and run Dickey Bell to the Parking lot.
I think running the harder trails early avoids a lot of the traffic problems. Locals don't seem to clog up the trails until 10~11 so if you move fairly fast, you can get though the hard stuff before having to wait on traffic.
Can't wait.
See you all Friday evening (maybe earlier if I can get out of work)
