Whats so special about the axle on that truck that would make it impossible for you to find one local? Surely spending even $100-200 more for a local axle would be worth it even just to avoid all the trouble you'd need to go to.
I figure you'd spend 3-400 on fuel driving and towing that thing, plus all the trouble of swapping the drivetrains. I'd say either get someone to do it for ye or find an axle local! :xyxthumbs:
You've probably already thought of that stuff though, so maybe i'm just spouting crap! :hysterical:
I actually found a shipping company(2 actually) who will pick it up and ship it to my doorstep for about $600...1300 miles! I guess we really are in a recession! And the reason I would go through the trouble is because its a good rig, and the axles are built exactly the way I want. I have been shopping locally for a set for a while, but to build these would cost me around $4G's. For that I could buy this rig, swap my parts back to it since all my stuff prolly has about 1200 miles total on it, and then sell the other rig to make some of my money back. Kinda having 2nd thoughts now though, I found a couple deals on some front 60's, so I may pass on it.
