Quote:Now I'm trying to fully understand what is meant by, say, a D44 or 9" with 60 outers? Does that just mean the tubes have been adapted to the housing to accept everything from there on out, larger stub shafts, larger u-joints? None, some, or all? Am I way off the mark?
That could be a D44 with everything(ie. D60 "C"s,knuckle,spindles,larger shafts,etc.)
I would guess a 9" would have the whole full floater deal from a D60 rear
there is also a 609 custom :o it would be a front 9" with high pinion and D60 outers hock: That must the baddazz-est!
