Loving the progress. That is how most builds start, something small turns into a major build. Always remember to match your cam to what ever intake you go with.
Decide what you put into your motor on what you plan to do with your rig. I know you have been hesitant to take your ride off road since the body is so clean. That is true for the tranny too. I would only switch to a 435 if I wanted to crawl more or had such large tires that I needed it to get going. If your tranny works with the size tire you have and for the type of wheeling you want too do. Then save the money and time for engine upgrades. Some cheap upgrades you can do are the later model stock distributer with an mallery ignition box. Or pertronix and an aftermarket ignition box.
