Ok....
You have fire at the plugs but we are not sure if you have it at the right time. It is possible to have jumped timing; I have done it before. Also make sure the #1 piston is TDC and matched with what the balancer markings are showing @ the pointer.
I assume you have air flow so I wont address that other than just make sure you have not pulled a vacuum line loose in the process.
Do your plugs smell like fuel? After all that cranking they should be wreaking. Just make sure fuel is getting past the carb and to the cylinders.
What wires are attached to which posts of the starter solenoid?
Also, please refresh my memory. Was this always an issue (charging) or is it recent?
