this is carried over from classic...trying to find a less expensive bilstein or rancho 9000x adjustable, or nitrogen shocks(not fooling with hydro shocks again)
plus these front belong to bart anyhow.
ok, i took some time today to re-measure things...plus it also help, that the county scrapped/cleaned the famous front ditch for more droop....of coarse;D
front shocks-
ride height-23.250"
compressed length-17.5"(still had maybe 1.5-2" up travel)
extended length-29"(with shock removed, it measured 31",so maybe 33" to be safe for a total extended length)
rear shocks-
ride height-20"
compressed length-14.750"(shock bottoms out)
extended length-24"(i could only measure 24" at the rear, but for some reason...that was all i got for drop today. i know ive seen 30" before.wasnt even giving the shackles a work out today.)
EDIT: the last time i flexed the rear out, i did get 30" and the shackle was almost perfectly inline with leaf spring. but, that was the james duff 3.5- 11 leafs. i swapped them out the some WH 3.5-11 leafs...these seem to carry more load without squatting. i just need to pull all the bushings out ans show them some grease love lol8-)
