I would look for under 200K, even on the 7.3L. I know guys with 300+ on them but it all depends on who drove it before now. My '99 has 116K on it now and the reason I jumped on it was because it was a great deal with low miles. Not really the truck I wanted, but the motor with low miles! I drive it daily and get 18-19 mpg's, bone stock, but 2wd. I do want to put a program in it to change my shift points. I had a '02 F250 with a mild program and it drove much better than my current stock 7.3L that currently drives like a school bus.
