my buddy scott bought a 97 or 99 f250(got it from a glass company
it showed 384,000 when he got. so last month it was going to turn 400k...except when all the zeros rolled over....THE 3 REMAINED! so the new question was..."how many times could that have happened?"
no matter what you get...try to get one with a good maintenance record. those(all with most diesels) can go beyond your imagination. but it all comes down to preventive maintenance. look for firm crisp shifts in the trannys and look very hard for any wetness of fuel on the top and back of the 7.3. they have O ring and fuel lines that go back all the time.
