I don't remember seeing where your size tires are. If they are 31s or less I'd stick with ur manual steering for the time being. I'd invest in brakes and other life saving items. But if you have a tire that's 12.5" wide then by all means go to pwr steering. But even then be prepared to spend around $500 or more depending on pumps, hoses, brackets, pitman arm, v-belt, and gear box. You may even have to notch out a section of your core support to fit a PS gear box in the place of a manual steering box.
There are lots to consider. I'm in the same boat as you but just buying all the parts separately at the moment. I have to cut my core support, get an automatic steering column and upper/lower steering shafts.
