I don't have a cage but I got a roll bar out of an early 90's FS. Sanded, primed and paitned myself. I want to put a cage in it one day.
My theory is, built not bought! You'll have more pride in it if you build it yourself.
Just my 2 cents

Jolly, I live that Creed, without a doubt! Just not sure I want to trust something that (potentially) my life depends on - on my welding skills.
Ogee - I'll check them out.
Thanks!

Yeah, I want to run a full cage too, TowMan. If nothing else the ride this last weekend (yes, I got the Fuel Pump situation fixed) taught me that I need one. Nothing bad happened, but I proved to my passengers (and myself) that all the gearing and mods you do don't get you less stuck - they get you further stuck before needing a rescue.
Tangent is great, but I kinda want it local enough to pickup and save the freight costs...
I'm leaning towards building the cage, but not sure where the best place to get the DOM is locally....
Not sure yet, so I thought I'd ask the masses...
Thanks, ya'll...

So... Talked to S&W via email (and they have a great response time). S&W is currently running a 10% off sale. and they do offer the rear loop for a family style cage. Complete shipped to us (zip 27592) would be about $730. They also offer it with mild steel instead of DOM, for 300 less, but... I'll go with DOM.
Thought I'd share that recent update with ya.
