Hard to tell in the picture but was the RV stuck?

If that puppy was in deep or framed out you can calculate appx. 3 times the vehicle weight to account for the added resistance of the ground. So basically a 15,000lb RV framed out would require 45,000 of pulling force. Could your winch do that? Sure! But you would need a couple of snatch blocks, one hell of a cable and a good anchor point. Oh, and a good body guy to realign your frame when it is all said and done.

Nice pics bro. I bet your Chinese winch works no more!!!

Got a distress call about 2:30 this afternoon and shortly after this is what I had pulled from the ruts...

Recovered an H3 for an individual who shall remain nameless for the time being. It wasn't too badly burried but the mud was pretty thick and made slicks of the tires on his rig.

I had to winch myself 3, yes JP three, times before I even got to the H3 since I took the wrong trail to get to him in the 1st place. My tires were slicks in a matter of seconds as well but my excuse was I had no 4WD. 2WD sucks but the Warn 8274 is the crown jewel of winches and always saves my bacon.

I wasn't about to get too close and make it a worse situation for us.
