Carolina Adventure World to open to fullsize rigs - Feb. 28th
#1
Pulled this from nc4x4.com and figured you guys might be interested...

DanStew on nc4x4.com Wrote:The owner of Carolina Adventure World is going to open up some trails on February 28th for fullsize offroad jeeps, trucks and buggies. Currently the park only caters to quads and motorcycles, but the owner is thinking bout expanding for fullsize vehicles. This is an open invite to other people or clubs to come down and check out the park. I cannot gaurantee what trails will be ridden or what type of terrain they are, this is going to be new for everyone unless you have been there with quads. So if we get a good turn out the owner is going to possibly try and create new trails for us. From what i heard at my last club meeting is the guys had all equipment to make trails and such, just looknig for volunteers to help do it. So come on out and make a presence, this can only benefit us. Carolian Adventure world is off I77 in South Carolina. below Rock Hill and Charlotte.
This is the website for the place, from what i have heard there is some very good terrain there such as hill climbs and such.

Here is a thread of it on the SC site

So this is open to all kinds of rigs. I am not sure of the price to ride, but a new park is a new park. WE need all we can get.

I'm going to do what I can to be there and show them that it should open up permanently to the big rigs.

Some people were talking about that place at work today - they take their 4wheelers and dirt bikes up there all the time and have a blast. This is great news to hear - thanks!

I wish it was on another date. Got plans on the 28th or i'd be there. I've heard good stuff about this place from bikers. I hope you other guys can show up to motivate the owner. Please keep us posted on other times to help, Ken.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED!!!! Apparently the owners of the park backed out of their original plans. That sucks.
