The hereculiner is sounding like exactly what I was looking for.

I would highly recommend you not use Herculiner. It is very coarse like sand paper and adheres poorly. I much prefer Raptor. That said, none compare to a professional liner.
Whatever you decide, be sure to use a high quality primer first. I'm sold on the 2 part epoxy primers. It all gets expensive quickly.

Bart, in terms of cost effectiveness, is it worth doing the prep yourself and then taking it to a professional for the final spray?

Yes and no. Usually they will charge less if everything is gutted from the interior (seats, belts, etc). They do all the liner prep themselves.
I can only say this for line-x. No idea on any of the others. I'm sure they use a lot of product, as the finish is 1/8"-1/4" thick. As was stated earlier, buy 5+ gals of anything and you've already lost money.
Most people only put down 2 gals of DIY stuff.
