Oil Pan removal on an 87?
#1
I am having some oil pressure problems on my Bronco. I talked to a guy the said it sounded like the screen on the oil pump may be stopped up i little. Just wondering how big a job and if there were any tricks to dropping the oil pan on it. I took a brief look at it and it looks like a pretty big job just to get the pan down. Any suggestions would be great.

Low pressure at idle? 302's are notorious for bearing excessive bearing clearances. Might not be a bad idea to pull a main cap and a rod cap to do a plastiguage check.

It's the 351W. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in the OP.
