Hey fellas, was just wondering if you guys had the inside scoop on some of the better engine shops in the central NC area or within 2 hours or so. Usually, I try to do all my own engine work, but sometimes time doesn't allow. So I wanted to know who you guys trusted and would get the job done right at good prices. Next I'll ask the same question about trannies...where are the good shops at. I'm a tranny dunce, and usually make things worse when I attempt a fix...I've been screwed over by a couple shops to this point and don't want it to happen again. Thanks for any info guys.

I use Kannapolis Engine Service in China Grove. They have always done great work at a fair price. Go see Adam, he'll take care of you.

its in sophia. his name is dale handy. we all just got home from eating and i told him you might be calling. he said for you to mention me and he would look out for ya. my name is mike case. he is one of my best friends and he builds lots of engines. he built the engine in my street car.
he also has his own trans guy. you could drop it all off with him and pick it all back up at the same time.

Alright...thanks bud...appreciate the info. However, it'll probably be a few weeks before he actually gets a call, gotta get home first and lay out a more solid plan. So if it comes up, let him know I'm not gonna leave him haging it'll just be a little while.

If you're really wanting to jack it up, we've got Staley Racing Engines just east of Kings Mountain and west of Gastonia on hwy. 74. They build engines for street rods and dirt track cars in this area. :xyxthumbs:
