If it hasn't been messed with, ie changed, the tag on the center section should tell you what it has. Typically the F350s run 4:09 gears.

Well, I passed on it so im looking again to get into the coveted blue oval

it just wasnt it. i was told the clutch was just replaced then when i got there he said the clutch was never done. there was a bunch of puddles of oil in the valley the bottom of the eng/tranny were covered in oil. the rear diff has been slinging oil up underneath the bed for some time. body trim was shot fiberglass body kit was all cracked and uneven. it just wasnt it for me. might be for someone else but not me

if you get a 7.3 get a dptuner chip. 140hp. 4"exh from the turbo back with a 5" tip. and change out the stock airbox for an open filter kit.
