went to piedmont dragway last week. car ran 6.79 at 105mph with a 1.56 60ft.
not bad on motor right off the trailer for the first time on ET street tires.
the 3.73 gears have got to go. i need a set of 4.10 so i can get the 60 down a little quicker. its gonna fly on the gas.

shoot, my old ford ranger(2.3) did 12sec 1/8 mile...you cant touch that:hysterical:

ive got to get some more work done on the car first.
it needs headlights , door panels, nos and im gonna put it on another diet. i found more stuff to remove to save weight. i want to ditch the power windows and put in some manual hand crank ones. cut out the door braces, install aluminum door panels, remove the braces under the bumper covers.

finally got the nitrous all hooked up and ready to go. also installed 4.10's in the rear last week. gonna go try it out again tomorrow night ( weather permitting )
