Are these salvagable?

Here are some pics of the axleshaft that was damaged the other week.

The stub looks pretty good, just some rash on the ears.

The inner shaft has rash too but the main issue is the one ear that is bent inward. I wonder if that is something that can be fixed.

Thoughts?

Not worth saving. Once the ears are bent they are very hard to get right. Plus with the rash they would probably fail before the joint. I have tried to save a few and had the caps come out due to the ears not being correct.
Its a good time to upgrade, or check if anybody has some extra stockers to sell.

Gee, talk about telling me what I don't want to hear. I have tried every which way to get out of pay $$$ for this stuff but everything points to a purchase. Oh well. Time to buy.

chuzie i found the # tonight for the guy that resplines axles. jim haney 336-978-4664 but sounds like im to late. he does good work. he did the axles in my mustang.
