Alrighty then. Got a good bit accomplished tonight. Got the shackle tubes cut and welded into the frame. Removed the overloads from the leaf springs and got those hung. Slid the front axle up in place and bolted it up.
Sorry the first two pics are a little blurry.
This is basically just for mock-up. It will have to come back apart. I need to get the rears that are in the Runna out and use those to build a custom spring pack for the front. Looks good so far. The center pin on Yota rears is not in the center of the spring. Its towards the front which again stretches the wheel base and keeps the tire out of the body. The only negative to this is that the axle starts to climb the spring a little bit tipping the pinion down some, but since I'm running a high pinion front this doesn't concern me too much.

Alright. Update time. Got back on the Runna tonight. Yanked the axle back out to cut some unused brackets off.
One thing you gotta do on a Yota is gusset up the steering knucle stops. They will bend up on you once you put on big tires and hydro-assist.
Here's how they looked before.
After. This will keep em from bending up.
Cut all the crap off the axle and smoothed it all out. Slipped the axle back in for the LAST time. Also got the the High Pinion third member installed.
Tomorrow Ill build up the Axle. Pics to follow. Later
