I've seen mass air on an early to mid 90's F150 with a 302. But the big performance gain would be to swap to a sequential fuel injection like the Mustangs. Most full size cars and all trucks run bank injection regardless of whether they are mass air or speed density.

351W went MAF and OBD-II in 1996..
IIRC, Cali vehicles were MAF in'95..
