Glad to have you ,Lou!! I'll look around my area and see if I can scare:xyxthumbs: up anything. I know where a 1/2 cab is but the guy wouldn't sell it last year. Won't hurt to ask again!

Welcome Lou! I attended UNCW for my under grad. I'm sure you'll love it down there. Glad to hear that you plan to pull another EB out of the shadows and into the spotlight where they belong! I'll keep an eye out for one up here in Raleigh.

Wow...lots of good input and amazing offers of support. Thanks again for the warm welcome and I can't wait to get back to ILM, close on a house, and find me a bucket of bolts to pour ridiculous amounts of my hard earned cash into. The old lady says if I get the Bronco she gets a Mustang. There goes the college fund...oh well. The daughter will just have to pick up a scholarship. There is always Thailand.

BAM! I finally got the Bronco...yeah, I know...it's been a hot minute. I had to buy a house first, sorry. Regretfully, my HOA is not as enamored about my Bronco as I am. She will be in Huntersville for a few more weeks and then to Laurinburg until I can get her up to speed and clean out a space in the garage. She's a mess...all kinds of issues. I've been hitting the guys up at Classic and have gotten the beginnings of a build sheet together but will be looking closer to home for some guidance on shops in the Laurinburg-Maxton and Wilmington area. I would rather find an individual with a solid backyard garage and an affinty for cold Coors Light and BBQ to do the work so if you know anyone with those traits go ahead and throw them under the bus for me. It takes a village to raise an idiot...it'll take more than that to raise this Bronco from the grave. Strike hold.

Mike,

Sorry it's been forever. I have no excuse. So I bought a place down the street from you apparently. I basically share a fence line with campus and I just bought a new Bronco yesteday...amazing. Anyway, again I write from abroad however I look to be home in the middle of March. If you are in town I would love a tour of your truck and some guidance on mine. Hope you are well. L

medwards01 Wrote::wave: Big Lou, welcome....What took you so long to get over here from classicbroncos.com? Why it's been almost 2 full days since I responded to your post over there advising you to join us here. Are you in Wilmington yet or still out of the country? I live in College Acres which is one of the neighborhoods adjacent to UNCW. You and Gumby93 and I need to get together as soon as you are settled. Now that you've caught the dreaded "Bronco Fever", all of us at CB4x4 want to watch your transformation to fullfledged "Broncoholic"....Broncos Rock!!

Big Lou, man I thought you had either fell off the end of the earth or had given up on Wilmington. Great news to learn you finally closed on a house. What's your street address? I am at 6301 Pin Tail Court which is just off Clear Run over behind the new Autumn Hall subdivision. Give me a shoutout when you hit Wilmington and we'll definitely get together....Oh, by the way, did you get the wife the Mustang yet? HeHeHe....

I will for sure be needing a mechanic and body man, professional or apprentice, that knows their way around a Bronco and has no interest in sodomizing me...literally or otherwise. Maybe even one that will exchange labor for combat tactics and firearms instruction.
