I don't know of anything in the area besides the zoo -- unless Coop likes wine! :drinkbud:
I've decided to stay home. We have a very sick cat who has taken a down turn this week. Matt and I will be visiting family in SC on Sunday, so I don't want us both to be gone all weekend and nobody around to keep an eye on her.
Have a fun, productive work weekend everybody! Hopefully by the next one I'll at least be up for riding along. Some people will do anything to get out of work, right?

everyone should print this map up for using...i made myself another one. i printed 2 and placed them back to back ,then laminated it(in case of rain)

... things changed here... I won't be leaving until ass-crack o dawn on Sat. It's only 2.5 hours for me, so it won't be too bad. But, don't look for me to be in my site (25) until first thing Saturday morning... I will be at Arrowhead by 7 and unloaded, and find you guys.
We're supposed to meet the FS (we're working with Pete Powell) at the Hunt Camp at 9am. Pete will have trail passes for us, so do not buy any. Also, please be sure to sign in with him!!! This is how URE gets the funding. The more people, the more hours, the more $$.. NC4x4 guys may join us too... with auger. Eli is their coordinator and drives a Raider, I believe. I'll find out more about this when I talk to him today.
If anyone needs anything along the way, or runs into trouble, give me a holler... I'll be coming from Raleigh through asheboro on 64/49/109... 919-795-forty2forty7.

what is our common cb channel since cell coverage is so spotty.
JayT- do you have contact info for the FS rep and your POC @ NC4x4 just in the remote chance you drop of the face of the earth?
Please post up location info for our meeting with the FS as everyone may not be able to rally at arrowhead or the service station.

I think we "always" run channel 13. But I'll be without a CB this trip, so you guys can make/change that call...
I only have email addresses for contacts... But Theresa Savery is our FS rep and we'll be working with Pete Cowell (FS). Eli (Draider90) is our NC4x4 contact.
Meet Pete at Hunt Camp at 9am (little green triangle on trail map, just south of the Outpost).
