Today we got back to work on the bumper. Armed with two angle grinders and a box of flap discs and grinding wheels, we went to town. Welded some more and did more grinding. Slapped two layers of primer and 3 layers of Krylon satin; turned out pretty darn good. Headed out on a mission tomorrow so the bumper will have about a week for the paint to cure and then we can install it on the Bronco and get the winch back in its rightful place.

Paint beotch!

Finished!

Installed the pinion guard from RuffStuff. This newer version was so much better than the first one they sent me.

Removed my old fender flares and prepped for the installation of the WH Gorilla War Flares I bought.

I was exhausted! It can wait. Was considering doing what Matt did and use automotive panel epoxy instead of the screws, but the kit is $150 and I can't justify the added expense.

Today I worked some final touches on the bumper. Got it mounted to the Bronco and installed the winch. Painted the spool so installing the rope will wait until I get back in town on Monday so it has plenty of time to dry.

Installed a wireless remote on the winch as well which is pretty nice in addition to the in-cab control and the wired control that goes on the box. 3x redundancy!

Installed my new LED headlights! They are f'ing sick. Nice and bright and have day running halos.

Started to install the gorilla war flares but ran out of time so only go one done.

Also installed a new battery tray. Unfortunately, the cheap Chinese made tray from JBG had no mounting holes so I had to drill them myself. Not a big deal, but sad I had to modify a brand new part.
