78 f150
#1
thought i might throw this out there for anyone. a guy i work with has 78 f150 with 351m. c6, engine only has 1800 miles since it was put back together. when he puts it into gear it stalls out. but if he revs engine slightly it will run fine. it is idleing fine. just when tranny is engaged. he just changed tranny fluid and filter and fuel pump and hoses. changed valve covers and gaskets. hes not running a tach so rpms are a guess. thanks
If you can't fix it with a hammer and a welder then your gonna need a new one!

x2 on the timing or maybe a vacuum issue.
Stupid hurts when it catches up, and it WILL catch up!
